      在多沙河流的邻近河段上同时修建上、下两座水库,联合调节河流水沙.上库汛后拦蓄河流来水,至汛期泄空水库利用洪水冲淤,将蓄水期间淤积的泥沙排出水库;下库汛期调蓄来水,待蓄水用完,由上库供水进行冲刷排淤,再将淤在下库的泥沙排出水库,解决多沙河流单一水库排沙与蓄水调节径流的矛盾.两库淤沙与冲淤排沙达到平衡以后,虽然部分库容被淤,但是保留下来的有效库容能够长期调水调沙.
英文摘要:
      This paper presents a scenario in which two reservoirs in cascade are jointly used to regulate water and silt. The upstream reservoir retains water during post flood period and discharges water in flood season. Thus, it makes use of flood to sluice sediment during flood period. At the same time the downstream reservoir regulates the incoming water during flood period. After the retained water is used up, the downstream reservoir uses water from upstream reservoir to sluice sediment. This mode of operation can coordinate sediment sluicing and water retaining. After the balance of sediment depositing and sluicing is achieved, the effective reservoir volumes can regulate both water and silt for a long term.
