| Both online analytical processing(OLAP)and knowledge discovery in database(KDD)are advanced modes of information resources exploitation.A system model for online analytical processing and data mining(DM)of hydrological data is proposed to acquire the knowledge of the laws of water movement and its effect on environment.The layered construction of the combination of OLAP and DM is presented in detail and the key technology to be applied in establishing the model is introduced. |
