| In this paper, explicit and implicit TVD schemes for computation of aerodynamic are used to simulate the 1-D unsteady open channel flow of sudden dam break. The calculation resuls are compared with analytic solutions and some other results. It is demonstrated that higher accuracy, good stability and non-oscillatory predictions are obtained and good shock-capturing ability is shown. |
