The reinforced soil is regarded as a cross-anisotropic and macroscopically homogeneous composite material.The concept of friction equivalent additional stress is introduced to simulate the interfaial action between soil and veinforcement.In consideration of the anisotropic characteristics of reinorced soil the constitutive relationship of reinforced soil is established and the formulas for calculation are proposed. |
