      Based on the Saint-Venant equation the 1-D mathematical model for calculating complicated river networks is established. The model is coupled with 2-D plane mathematical model in calculating the flow field in the vicinity of engineering in estuary. The three-steps-solving method is applied to solve the model for the whole networks, and then the calculation result is used as the boundary condition for the calculation of 2-D model. After Possion transformation of the control equation, the nine-point-scheme of finite analysis method is applied to solve the 2-D model. Consequently, the iteration of calculation is simplified and the computation is accelerated. An example is given for demonstration.
