      本文根据波动理论推导出在重力作用下波的传播速度表达式,分析了微小波动中表面张力的作用。常温下当水表面上为空气时,波的传播速度必须大于23cm/s(相应波长大于1.72cm)时,表面张力的影响才能忽略不计。据此指出,现行水工模型试验规程中把模型水表面流速不小于23cm/s作为忽略水表面而张力影响的限制条件是不正确的,应予更正。
英文摘要:
      Based on the mechanics of wave, the expression of water wave propagation velocity under the action of gravity is deduced and the effect of surface tension on small wave is analyzed. In case the media over the water surface is air, the effect of surface tension can be neglected only if the wave velocity is higher than 23cm/s. According to this analysis, the restriction of water surface velocity in hydraulic model must be higher than 23cm/s, which is stipulated in the regulation of hydraulic model test, is incorrect. It is concluded that in hydraulic model test for short wave(the ratio of wave length to water depth ≤2.5), the minimum water depth in the model must be larger than 1.5cm. In practice, it is suit able to take 3cm as the minimum water depth.
