      研究了土壤干旱(基质势为-0.86MPa)和湿润(基质势为-0.17MPa)条件下土壤机械阻力对玉米根系导水率(Lpr)的影响.结果显示,土壤机械阻力降低根系导水率,原因是土壤机械阻力使根系平均直径增大,根直径增大使根的径向导水阻力增大,从而使根系导水率降低,土壤干旱除了使土壤机械阻力增大外,还可能加速根内外皮层木质化和栓质化,从而降低根系导水率。
英文摘要:
      The effect of soil mechanical resistance on hydraulic conductivity of maize root was studied experimentally in laboratory. The results showed that soil mechanical resistance reduce the hydraulic conductivity of maize root due to the increase of average root diameter. The increase of root diameter leads to the increase of hydraulic conductivity resistance in radial direction and reduces the hydraulic conductivity of the root consequently. Dry soil may not only increase the soil mechanical resistance but also accelerate the formation of suberin and lignin that serves as radial transport barriers on both endodermis and exodermis.
