      本文从技术史层面研究了京杭大运河各时期工程技术特点,在此基础上分析了京杭大运河的遗产构成。主要结论如下:(1)大运河具有独立的工程体系,是界定其遗产时空范围的重要依据;(2)京杭大运河以其工程体系的完整性,区域特点的鲜明性应当作为中国大运河申请世界文化遗产的主体;(3)京杭大运河遗产的核心构成是水利工程体系,由水道工程、水源工程、工程管理和附属设施四大工程系统组成。京杭大运河代表了17世纪工业革命前世界范围内水利规划、土木工程的最高成就;(4)京杭大运河具有自然与文化遗产的双重特点。京杭大运河运用的500年为黄河夺淮南行期,在黄河泥沙和持续数百年的水利建设影响下,区域江河湖泊演变之剧烈,是世界任何地区所没有的。
英文摘要:
      The Jing Hang Grand Canal, which called Grand Canal in short, is a symbolic project witnessing the progress of Chinese civilization. The technological feature of the Canal in each historical phase is discussed. On this basis, the characteristics and components of this important heritage are further analyzed, it is concluded that: 1.the Canal has been developed as an independent engineering project which should be considered when defining its heritage scopes in terms of time and space; 2.the Canal, with its integrity of engineering system and remarkable regional characteristics, should constitute the backbone component of the Grand Canal when applying for World Heritage; 3. the core components of the heritage of the Canal are the hydraulic engineering system including the waterway projects, water supply projects, management experiences and its auxiliary facilities. The Canal is the symbolic project of the highest world wide achievement in water planning and civil engineering before the industrial revolution in the 17th century. The Grand Canal incorporates the features of cultural heritage with natural heritage.
