Abstract:Imagetransformationhascertainpotentialinthefieldoffaultdiagnosisofhydropowerunits.Thetradi
tionalmethodsoftransformingone - dimensionaldataintoimageshastheproblems,suchasimagefeaturesingulari
ty ,thedifficultyofrepresentingmultiplesignalswithoneimage,andthelow accuracyofimagerecognition.
Therefore,thispaperproposesafaultdiagnosismethodbasedonenhancedhierarchicalsymmetrizeddotpattern
(EHSDP)anddeepresidualnetwork(Resnet50).Firstly,insteadofthetraditionalhierarchicaldecomposition,
theimagetransformationmethodofEHSDPisproposedbyutilizingthemovingdifferenceandmovingaverage
process,whichcanovercometheproblemofsinglesignalfeaturewhileimprovingtheimagetransformationefficien
cyby27.42%.Secondly ,thedecomposedvibrationsignalsareimagedtoobtaintheimagedatabaseofthehydro
powerunits ,andtheEHSDPimagesaredividedintoatrainingsetandavalidationset.TheResnet50modelis
trainedwiththetrainingsettoobtaintheoptimalmodelparameters.Then ,thevalidationsetimagesareinputinto
thetrainedResnet50 ,andtheextractedfeaturesarevisualizedwithTSNE.Thereisnoaliasinginthecharacteristic
signalsofeachstate.Finally ,theoutputimagefeatureclassificationrealizedthefaultdiagnosisofhydropowerunits
andtherealmachinedataofSK - 3#unitsofahydropowerplantwasusedforvalidation.Theresultsofbothsimula
tionexperimentsandexampleverificationshowthattheproposedmethodhasobviousadvantagesinallthecompari
sonmodels ,whichverifiestheeffectivenessandpracticalityoftheproposedmethodinthispaper.
