Abstract:Themusselsattachedtothelong - distancewatertunnelwallmaydieanddecayduetothemaintenance
drainageandreleasealotofharmfulgases ,whichseriouslythreatensthemaintenancesafety.However,theexist
ingresearchesonventilationsafetyofundergroundengineeringfocusonthecomparisonandselectionofventilation
schemesconsideringventilationeffect ,whichisdifficulttoobtaintheglobaloptimalschemethatbalanceventilation
effectandventilationcost,andtheinfluenceofharmfulgasesfrommusseldecayisignored.Moreover,themulti -
objectiveoptimizationmethodbasedonParetooptimality (PO)requiresthesecondaryselectionofthenon - domina
tedsolutionsetcombinedwithmulti - criteriadecisionmethodtoobtaintheoptimalsolution ,whichleadstothere
ductionofoptimizationefficiency.Tosolvetheseproblems ,afuzzylogicmulti - objectiveoptimizationmethodfor
maintenanceventilationschemeoflong - distancewatertunnelconsideringtheeffectofmusseldecayisproposed.
First,thefuzzymembershipfunctionsarecombinedtotransformmultipleoptimizationobjectivesintothesamecon
tinuousdomainspace ,theunifiedoptimizationindexissynthesized,andamulti - objectiveoptimizationmathemat
icalmodelbasedonFuzzylogic (FL)isconstructedforglobaloptimization.Thentheimprovedsandcatswarmop
timization(ISCSO),basedonchaoticmappingandoptimalneighborhooddisturbancestrategy,isusedtosolvethe
mathematicalmodeltoavoidthesecondaryselectionandimprovetheoptimizationefficiency.Performancetestand
casestudyshowthattheproposedISCSO - FLmethodhasadvantagesinsolutionquality ,solutionrobustnessand
computationalcomplexity.TheoptimalschemeobtainedbyISCSO - FLmethodcanmeettheventilationsafetyre
quirements ,theventilationcostisreducedby21.9% comparedwiththeinitialscheme,andtheoptimizationeffi
ciencyisincreasedby68.1% comparedwiththemulti - objectiveoptimizationmethodbasedonPO.Thisstudycan
provideanewideafortheventilationschemedesignandoptimizationofundergroundengineering.
