Abstract:Thesignificantfloodsformedbythebreakingoflandslidedamsseriouslythreatenpeople’slives,social
stability ,andecologicalenvironmentintheaffectedareasdownstream.Itisanurgentneedtoimprovetheaccuracy
oflandslidedamfailureparametersandlongevitypredictionforemergencytreatment.Basedonthegeographicaland
statisticalanalysisofthe1957groupoflandslidedam casesaroundtheworld,themaininfluencingfactorsofthe
breachparametersweredetermined.Thepredictionmodelsofpeakoutflow,breachsize,andbreachingduration
wereestablishedbynonlinearregressionmethod,whichallhaveahighdegreeoffitting.Thefactors’sensitivityto
breachparameterswasanalyzedquantitatively ,andtheresultindicatesthatthedam heightisthemostessential
factorfordam break.Furthermore, variousindependentvariablesand algorithmsareused toestablish the
predictionmodelsofthedurationofinfilling,overflowing,andbreachingstages,respectively.Finally,thecorre
spondingfusionmodelswereproposedbyusingtheweightedfusionmethod.Theresultscanprovideareferencefor
quantitativeevaluationoftheparametersofthedamfailureprocessandlongevityprediction.
