                  Abstract:Capacitypriceisanimportantwaytoachievecompensatingcostsandreasonablereturnsforpumped
                  storagehydropowerplant (PSHP).TheexistingmethodismainlyapplicabletopurePSHPandnottoon - stream
                  integralpumpedstoragehydropowerplant (OIPSHP)withspecificcostandrevenuecomponents.Thearticlefirst
                  clarifiesthediversecostandrevenuecomponentsofOIPSHP,includingreservoircapacitylease,hydropowergen
                  erationbysurpluswater ,andhydropowergenerationprofitandloss.Secondly,ashort -andlong - term multi -
                  scalecollaborativepeakshavingmodelofOIPSHPisconstructedforcascadehydropowerstationswiththegoalof
                  maximizingthepeakshavingbenefits.Here ,themixed - integerlinearprogrammingmethodandparticleswarmop
                  timizationalgorithmareusedtogethertosolveabovementionedmodel.Finally ,acapacitypricecalculationmodel
                  forOIPSHPisproposedthroughcouplingthemulti - scalecollaborativepeakshavingmodelandpricingmodel
                  duringoperationperiodconsideringreservoircapacityleaseandhydroelectricitygenerationprofitandloss.Thepro
                  posedcapacitypricecalculationmodelcanprovidesupportforevaluatingtheeconomyofPSHP.TakingtheOIP
                  SHPlocatedinthenorthwestregionofChinaasanexample ,theresultsshowthattheannualhydropowergeneration
                  bysurpluswaterofOIPSHPreaches245.2millionkWh ,whichisfargreaterthantheannualpowergenerationin
                  creaseofhydropowerstationofupperreservoirof0.019millionkWhandtheaverageannualpowergenerationofhy
                  dropowerstationoflowerreservoirdecreasedby0.057millionkWh.ThereservoircapacityleaseamountofOIPSHP

                  is10.63millionm .Withoutconsideringthereservoircapacityleaseandhydroelectricitygenerationprofitand
                  loss,thecapacitypriceofOIPSHPis730yuan?(kW·a).Whenconsideringbothofthem,thecapacitypriceis
                  633yuan? (kW·a)undertheschemeofhydropowerpriceof0.30yuan?(kWh)andreservoircapacityleasingunit

                  priceof0.5yuan?m ,withadecreaseofnearly100yuan?(kW·a).Hydropowergenerationbysurpluswaterof
                  OIPSHPisthemainfactorreducingthecapacityprice.Thereservoircapacityleasecostraisesthecapacityprice.
                  Thisstudycomplementsthecapacitypricecalculationsystem forPSHP ,whichcanprovidetechnicalsupportfor
                  theplanningofOIPSHP.
