                  Abstract:Displacementistheintuitivereflectionofcomprehensiveoperatingbehaviorofdamsunderthecoupling
                  effectofdynamicchangeofenvironmentalloadsandstructuralperformanceevolution.Areasonabledisplacement
                  behavioranalysisandpredictionmodeliscrucialtoscientificallydiagnosethehealthstatusandtopredictthefuture
                  operatingbehaviorofdams.Consideringthatthedisplacementbehaviorofconcretedamsin cold region is
                  significantly affected by ambienttemperature variation , to effectively interpretthe thermaldisplacement
                  characteristicscausedbythedynamicfluctuationofambienttemperature ,ameasuredboundarytemperature - based
                  displacementbehavioranalysismodelofconcretegravitydamsincoldregionisestablished.Meanwhile,tofurther
                  explorethecomplexcausalfunctionrelationshipbetweendisplacementanditsexplanatoryvariables,twinsupport
                  vectorregression(TSVR) withexcellentnonlineartrainingabilityisintroducedtoconstructthedisplacement
                  predictionmodel.AndTSVR parametersaresimultaneouslyoptimizedbywhaleoptimizationalgorithm (WOA).
                  Takingaconcretegravitydamincoldregionasanexample,thechangingamplitudeofhorizontaldisplacementof
                  anoverflowdamsectioncrestisquitelargeandthevariationlawofthisdisplacementisdifferenttothatofother
                  monitoringpoints.Thecauseofthisdisharmoniousdisplacementbehaviorisinterpreted with the proposed
                  displacementbehavioranalysismodel.Theresultisofgreatsignificanceforfurtherunderstandingthedisplacement
                  behaviorofconcretedamsincoldregion.Inaddition,engineeringexamplesindicatethattheproposedoptimized
                  TSVR - baseddisplacementpredictionmodelhasexcellentnonlinearinformationminingandpredictiveperformance.
                  Anewapproachisprovidedforaccuratelypredictingdamdisplacement.
