                  Abstract:Becauseofitsuniquechannelmorphologyandgeographiclocation,theToudaoguairiverreachisthe
                  mostvulnerabletoicedamformationintheInnerMongoliasectionoftheYellowRiver.Studyontherivericetrans
                  portandaccumulationprocessinthisreachisthekeytounderstandingtherivericeprocessandthemechanismof
                  icedammingformationintheInnerMongoliasection.Thewinterfreeze - upprocessoftheToudaoguaireachfrom
                  2020to2021wassimulatedandvalidatedbasedonthecoupledtwo - dimensionalfiniteelementhydrodynamicmodel
                  andDPMrivericedynamicsmodel.Theinfluencingfactorsofthefreeze - upprocesshavebeendiscussed ,likehy
                  draulicconditions ,iceconcentration,andchannelmorphology.ResultsshowthatcomparedwiththeGuanniuju
                  bend ,theShisifenzibend,whichhasalargebendrateandahighdegreeofnarrowing,ismorelikelytoformice
                  jamming ,andthesmallertheflowrate,themoreobvioustheicejamseffectis,andthefastertheicecoverdevelops
                  upstream.Whentheiceconcentrationislessthan0.4 ,noicejam occursinthestudysectionundervariousflow
                  rates;whentheiceconcentrationincreasesto0.4,thesurfaceicefirstformsicejam atthebendoftheShisifenzi
                  wherethebendingratecoefficientislarge ,andwiththefurtherincreaseoficeconcentrationandflowrate,theice
                  runthatdivesandmovesdownstreamalsoformsicejamatthebendoftheGuanniujubend,therefore,theicecon
                  centrationthatformsicejamintheToudaoguaisectionoftheriver.Theicewatercoupledtwo - dimensionaldynamics
                  modelcansimulatethehydrauliccharacteristics ,icethicknessgrowthandriverclosurepatternofthenaturalriver
                  duringtheprocessoficetransportandaccumulation,revealingtherelevantfactorsandmechanismsaffectingtheriver
                  iceprocess ,andprovidingtechnicalsupportforthepreventionandmitigationoftheYellowRiverInnerMongolia.
