                  Abstract:Theoptimalallocationofinstalledhydro - wind - photovoltaiccapacityisimportantforimprovingenergy

                  mentarysystems,installedcapacityandeconomictechnicalparameterssuchaselectricitypriceandcostsbythe
                  traditionalnumericalsimulationmethodthataimsatmaximizingthenetsystem benefits.Tothisend ,thispaper
                  proposesananalyticaloptimizationmethodfortheinstalledcapacityconfiguration.First ,constructthewind - photo
                  voltaiccurtailmentratefunctiontoaccuratelysimulatelong - term windandPVcurtailedpower ,thentheoptimal
                  installedcapacityfunctionisanalyzedbasedonthecost - benefitmodelandtestedbynumericalsimulationmethod ,
                  finally,Taylorexpansionoftheoptimalinstalledcapacityfunctionisperformedtoassessthesensitivityoftheopti
                  malinstalledcapacityandthenetbenefitofthecomplementarysystemtoeacheconomictechnicalparameterinthe
                  capacityconfiguration.TakingtheYalongRiverBasinErtanhydro - wind - photovoltaiccomplementaryprojectasan
                  example,theresultsshowthattheproposedanalyticaloptimizationmethodhasbeentestedtoaccuratelyconfigure
                  theinstalledcapacity,themostsensitiveparameteroftheoptimalinstalledcapacityandthenetbenefitisthefeed -
                  intariffandtheleastsensitiveparameteristheoperationandmaintenancecost ,andthesensitivityofthefeed - in
                  tarifftothenetbenefitis4.44timesoftheoperationandmaintenancecost.Thestudycanprovidetechnicalsupport
                  fortheplanninganddesigningofwatershedhydro - wind - photovoltaiccomplementarypowerplants.
