                  Abstract:Theroadgullyisanimportantcomponentoftheurbandrainagesystem,itsdischargecapacitydirectly
                  affectsthedegreeofwateraccumulationonurbanroadsurface.Thecity ’s230,000raingrateswillberenovated
                  throughthecombinationofhorizontalandverticalduringthe14thFive - YearPlanperiodinBeijing.Inorderto
                  guaranteetheeffectofgullyreformation ,thephysicalmodeltestofflatgrategullyrainwaterinletandtheflat -
                  standingcombinedgullywascarriedout.Through377workingconditiontests ,theinfluencesoffactors(suchas
                  whethertherainwaterintakessink3cmmorethanthesurroundinggroundaccordingtothestandardrequirements,
                  theformofraingrate,thedegreeofblockageofraingrate,thedegreeofblockageofrainpipeandthetypicalwa
                  terdepthofroad )onthewatercollectingrateanddrainagecapacityofrainwaterintakesarestudied.Theresults
                  showthat :① Whetherthegratesurfaceelevationissunkby3cmasstandardhadagreaterimpactonthesurface
                  waterfloodingoftheroad. ② Differentgrateformshavelittleeffectonthewatercollectioncapacityofsunkenrain
                  waterinlets. ③ Theoverflowcapacityofrainwaterinletafteracertaindepthofroadsurfacewaterfloodingisdeter
                  minedbytheconnectionpipeoverflowcapacity. ④ Theformofgullyhasasignificanteffectonthedrainagecapaci
                  tywhenthegrateisclogged. ⑤ Theanti - cloggingabilityoftheflat - standingcombinedgullyissignificantlybetter
                  thanthatoftheflattypegully.Basedontheexperimentalresults,somesuggestionsareproposedtoreduceandcon
                  trolsurfacewaterfloodingthroughthecombinationofgullylevelandelevation.Thisresultcanprovidetheoreticalref
                  erenceandtechnicalsupportforthedesign ,constructionandmodificationofroadstormwaterdrainagesystems.
