Abstract:Underthepledgeofcarbonneutrality,theinstalledcapacityofwindandsolarenergiesinChinawill
continuetoexpand ,thusitisurgenttosolvetheproblemofintegratingnewenergiesintopowergrids.Inthispa
per,thedefinitionofcascadecomplementaryenergystorageanditsoperationmodewasintroduced.Basedon
which ,theconsumptioneffectsofthecascadecomplementaryenergystorageinpromotingtheintegrationofnewen
ergiespremisedwithknownreservoirinflowswereanalyzed.TheLongyangxia - Laxiwacascadecomplementaryener
gystoragewasselectedasacasestudy.Itisshownthatratiosofadditionalenergyproductionofthecascadehydro
powerplantstoenergyconsumptionoflargepumpstationsundersimulationandoptimizationscenariosare0.5and
0.7 ,respectively.Withoutimpairingdownstreamwaterusefunctions,energyconsumptionofthepumpstationcan
reach1.9billionkWhperyear ,equalingtoreducethecurtailedenergyofthepowergridby9%.Meanwhile,ad
ditionalenergyproductionofthecascadehydropowerplantsreach1.33billionkWhperyearwithanincreaseof
7.8%.Therefore ,theconsumptioneffectofthecascadecomplementaryenergystorageinpromotingtheintegration
ofnewenergiesispromising.

Abstract:Thelayoutofthewaternetworktoacertainextentdeterminesthepatternofeconomicandsocialdevel
opmentofthecountryorregion ,formingacloselylinkedwatershedecologicalandeconomicbelt, andcan
radiateandstimulatethedevelopmentofthesurroundingareas.Chinahasgraduallyevolvedfromthe “river - sea”
T - shapedwaternetworkeconomicbeltwiththeformereasterncoastaleconomicbeltandYangtzeRivereconomic
beltasthemainaxistothe “river - river - sea”Π - shapedwaternetworkeconomicpatternwiththeeasterncoastal
belt ,YangtzeRivereconomicbeltandYellowRiverecologicaleconomicbeltasthemainaxis.Inordertocope
withthelargegapbetweentheeconomicdevelopmentoftheSouthandtheNorthandtheunbalanceddevelopment
oftheEastandWest ,theconceptof“DoubleT” - shapedwaternetworkeconomiclayoutisproposed,aimingto
formthe “EasternCoastalEconomicZone -YangtzeRiverEconomicZone”asthecoreofthesouthernwaternet
workeconomiczone(NT)and“YellowRiverEcologicalEconomicZone -WesternEconomicZone”asthecoreof
thenorthernwaternetworkeconomiczone (ST),whichcanform awaternetworkeconomicpatternofintercon
nection,interoperability,andmutualassistance.Theconstructionof“DoubleT” - shapedwaternetworkeco
nomicpattern ,isofgreatsignificanceforsupportingthemajornationalstrategyoftheYellowRiverBasin,driv
ingtheriseofthewest,promotingthebalancedandsynergisticdevelopmentofthenorth,south,andeastand
westofChina ,andpromotingtheintegrationofethnicgroupsandcultures.Theimplementationofthewestern
watertransferandtheimprovementofthenationalwaternetworkareimportantfoundationsforbuildingtheeco
nomicpatternofthe “DoubleT” - shapedwaternetwork.
