Abstract:Theopennessandfluidityofrainwatermaketheoccurrenceofurbanflooddisasterhasmulti - scalechar
acteristic.Therearealsomanylevelsandscalesofplanningandconstructioninthespongecitysystem ,andthe
connotationandfloodcontrolobjectivesofeachlevelscalearedifferent.BasedontheSWMM model ,thispaper
takesthreedifferentspatialscaleareas (localcatchmentunit,urbancatchmentareaandurbansmallwatershed)
locatedinGuangzhouastheresearchobject.Throughtheanalysisofthepresentsituationandthedesignandsimu
lationofspongereconstructionscheme ,thereasonablesettingofstorm floodcontrolmeasuresfordifferentscale
spongesystems,andthewaytoachievethecomprehensivecontrolgoalofurbandrainageandpluvialfloodpreven
tionandspongecityconstructionissystematicstudiedwithpracticalcases.Theresultsshowthatinthesmall - scale
spongesystem ,thecontrolofsystemrunoffandoutflowfactorsshouldberealizedthroughmicrocontrolmeasures,
andinthemediumandlarge - scalespongesystem,thecontrolmeasuresofgreenandgrayinfrastructure,pipe
canalandregulationandstoragefacilities ,andthecombinationofsourceandterminalshouldbetakentorealize
thecontrolofpeakflowandthemitigationofpondingrespectively.Theresearchcanprovideaclearreferencefor
theoverallplanningandconstructionofspongecityandtheplanning ,designandresearchofspongecityindiffer
entsingle - scaleregions.
